Lanarkshire Junior Alliance

Formed in August 1892, the Lanarkshire Juniot Alliance was a subsidiary competition to the Lanarkshire Junior League. Although there was no direct affiliation to the latter, the Alliance supplied a number of clubs to it. This relationship was cemented in 1903 when the Alliance was absorbed by the LJL as its second division.

The accompanying league tables and memberships were researched by the late Jackie Heaney and kindly supplied by Stewart Davidson, with additional information taken from John Aitken’s ‘West of Scotland Juniors 1885-2005’
