Inverness Junior League

After the Second World War, a Junior League operated in Inverness, folding after the 1952-53 season. The remaining teams were Hill Rovers, Nelson, Craig Dunean, Merkinch Rangers, Culeabock Athletic and AN Other.

Hill Rovers actually remained in the Scottish Junior FA for another two years playing in the Scottish Junior Cup each year. When the hoped for Junior League didn't reform, they opted to joined the Highland Reserve League, which later became the North Caledonian League.
