Ayrshire Football Championship

 

Two competitions known as such were played. The first being held in 1896-97.

The second was sanctioned by the Scottish FA on 23 February 1909. The new competition, sometimes referred to as Ayrshire League, adopted the rules of the Scottish League Second Division, with Kilmarnock putting up the cup for the winners.

Ayr Parkhouse, Ayr and Kilmarnock were members of the Scottish League, while Galston participated in the Scottish Combination.
